The GBL Filter is one of most tangible and simplest ways to impact an entire community. Families can construct and adapt their filter in just minutes to locally found containers. The GBL Filter brings safe clean water to entire communities where there has never been clean water before impacting families for more 20 years.

While the GBL Filter is an incredible strategy to provide immediate relief to those without access to clean water, it isn’t always the best solution. That’s why we look to drill wells that help provide a long term sustainable clean water solution to entire communities who may not have access to any kind of water source… clean or not. Through our mobile drilling technology we are often able to drill wells in 75% more places for 75% less money than traditional drilling methods.

Imagine what can be built on top of water… Churches. Schools. Medical Clinics. Businesses. Agriculture. We seek to fulfill requests for different structures because we know these buildings often create new dreams in the people we serve. Each project is carefully considered according to the need and overall impact on the community and the resources for long term leadership, maintenance and support.

THE EXPEDITION is more than just a short term mission trip experience.  It is an opportunity to explore,  to discover, and to make a long-term genuine impact on local communities in the developing world. When you join us on an Expedition, you and your team will work directly alongside local go.build.love. partners and ministries to bring sustainable projects and solutions as we build stronger communities on top of water.

go.build.love uses the Sawyer PointONE Filter, which is able to remove 99.9% of all harmful bacteria, protozoa, and cysts and is sturdy enough to withstand daily backwashing which allows the filter to be cleaned and reused again and again filtering at least 1 million gallons! If cared for properly, this filter will produce 20+ years of clean, safe drinking water!

By giving as little as $50 toward a GBL Filter or giving to a GBL Filter Distribution project, you can help us help others get access to clean water who have never had access to clean water before, receive anit-parasitic medicines, hear about the love and message of Jesus, receive a Bible, and help our local partners follow up on the impact of the filter with a minimum of 3 follow up visits.

Obtain a clean bucket or plastic container.

Use the hole cutter to drill a hole 1.5 inches from the bottom of the bucket (you can do this by hand).

Screw the connector, hose & filter onto the bucket.

Fill the bucket with water from any source, lower the filter head below the water line, & let gravity do the rest.

The GBL Filter removes 99.999% of all bacteria, such as E.coli, salmonella, and cholera. It also removes 99.999% of all protozoan cysts, including Giardia, cryptosporidium and other protozoa.
In other words, the filter makes water clean and safe.

go.build.love. is designed to receive requests through either the local church or through other mission organizations. The request, or the dream, can range from a single GBL Water Filter to thousands, one to several wells or one to hundreds of structures within a region or a country.  The organization has been created to not only receive requests but also seek opportunities.

1. ASSESS THE PROJECT

The go.build.love. Team assesses potential projects. Each project is determined by local leadership potential and project logistics (costs, safety, accessibility, etc.) but most importantly is evaluated by potential overall long-term impact the project will have in the community.

2. FUNDRAISING BEGINS

Once a project has been accepted, the go.build.love. team and its partners begin fundraising campaigns for the requested project,  mapping out the filter distribution strategy, plan for wells and prepare sites for construction.

3. PRODUCT LAUNCH

The go.build.love. field team will arrive to begin to empower and train local leadership to they can begin to implement the plan and strategy. go.build.love. field  staff can also build structures that are located in areas where accessibility or safety could be an issue.

4. FOLLOWING UP

Finally, the go.build.love. team works with local leadership and its partners to ensure that the project was completed with maximum impact in mind by following up with each family and community impacted by the project.  Then, the team works to move on from relief, to sustainability, to development. Our strategy isn’t sporadic. It’s intentional.

5. WE PROVE IT

We share with you photos and GPS coordinates for every single go.build.love. water and building project from assessment to implementation to follow up.
